    Hello,

    We are still in the process of restoring your hosting services which are hosted on win1.hostgator.in. Here is brief description of what we are doing to restore your hosting service:

    1. We have procured a brand new server to replace the old one, which went down due to a hard drive failure. Because we use an array of disks to store your data, we are able to recover your data in spite of a hard drive failing.

    2. We are now in the process of migrating your data from the old server to the new server. This is taking time due to the large amount of data that needs to be moved.

    Please be assured that we are doing everything humanly possible to bring your hosting service back up as soon as we can. We will be providing a further update on our progress in the next 12 hours.

    We are pleased to inform you that we have succeeded in transferring all the data from the old Win1 server to the new Win1 server. We are now in the process of restoring all the databases - we are currently @ 75% done, and estimate another 24 hours before we are able to restore all the websites and databases completely.

    We are proud to announce that we have successfully got the items transferred from the old Win1 to a brand new win1 server. At this time emails do appear to be working from Webmail. Email clients may not be functional if your domain is not working. We ask now that our clients check their site and their content. If the site is not working. We also ask that you hold off on submitting any trouble tickets for any domains at this time as we are working through them.

    If you are experiencing email issues please raise a ticket and we will be working on them first to restore complete service. You may be missing emails, and if so please include this in your trouble ticket. We look forward to having all of our customers up and online as soon as possible.

    Hello,

    We have restarted the Smartermail server. At this time the server will begin reindexing old email files. This is not an instant process, and should take about an hour. This will not hinder you from being able to send or receive. Please do not be alarmed if you see partial messages or old emails pop up. This is normal. Once it is done any partial messages or old emails will be present.
