DNS problems

Ever since I've moved to Hostgator India I've been seeing "unable to connect", "timeout","server not found" in browser and when when connecting to FTP using Filezilla regularly.

Today I found too many of such messages so I ran dns check: http://www.checkdns.net/quickcheck.a...com&detailed=1

Please see the attachment showing the result.

My site traffic has been suffering due to the dns issues as site shows unreachable plenty of times. I request you to please look into it.

I've looked into this and it looks like the nameservers weren't using DNS Glue which tends to cause a fair amount of issues with resolving domains. I've corrected this, however there may be some DNS propagation time (6-8 hours). If you're continuing to see issues with this please submit a support ticket to us - support@hostgator.in.

Make sure your DNS settings are correct for your ISP or network. If you've changed your DNS settings to use a service such as OpenDNS, for example, you might have entered them incorrectly.

Find out from your ISP or network administrator what your DNS settings are supposed to be, or check the OpenDNS site (or another DNS service) for their server settings. Once you've done that, you'll need to make sure that you've entered the DNS settings properly.
